we met several personages, you might have seen in Laimikis before

egzistuoja toks daiktas, kurį vadiname “laimikio efektas”:
kartą priėję ir susipažinę su žmogum gatvėje, imate jį matyti
mieste (dažniausiai jau nuo kitos dienos po pažinties).

nieko nuostabaus, kad per gatvių muziką sutikome
kelis laimikius, kuriuos turbūt atsimenate ir jūs

• he was a bit lost in Vilnius,
  searching for a street, with a strange “u” in the end
  (that’s the way most of the street names end in Lithuania),
  where a rehearsal of Two Dollar Bash took place,
  in “Havana social club” (Šermukšnių str. 4a).
  Today the band had a concert there.
• music he listens: rock’n'roll of 60’s-70’s
• book he reads: Hank Williams: The Biography

• Tomorrow (May 3) on Street Musician Day Joe and the band
  is going to perform on the streets and Cafe de Paris.

• place we met: near contemporary art center;
• she is a member of “Forum theatre“;
• she listens to: Regina Spector; also she
  enjoys icelandic & british rock, and from
  the Lithuanian scene - Stipriai Kitaip, Suicide DJ’s;
• her places are: Vokiečių str, Užupis (it’s good for bicycling);
• she loves cinema, and among the most vivid films for
  a recent period are: “Blueberry Nights“, “USA vs. John Lennon”;

• she is going to: Tallat-Kelpša conservatoire;

• she plays and listens: jazz, latino, salsa;

• his music: minimal techno & other interesting sounds

• his places in Vilnius: Milk Bar, Belmontas cafe;

 

Aleksas

• name: Aleksas (Alex);
• place we met: Coffee Inn @ Vilnius str.;
• he is: an actor at LMTA theatre (Gedimino 42, II a., 214 aud);
• and studies at: Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre;
• we learnt from him that: there was an interesting play-project,
  consisted of the fragments of Lithuanian literature. At this moment:
  the play by Vladimir and Oleg Presniakov [fr] is being prepared.
• places he likes: Pilies Mene, Kolonos (there are several in Vilnius),
  but especially: open air cafes;
• his soundscape is eclectic, from classical music to metal,
  one of the best is: Air;
• books he reads: M. Bulgakov and F. Dostoyevsky;

there is going to be a play in LAMT
(Gedimino 42, aud. 214), on 25-26 of January!

• his places: an inn opposite to “Marx” (Marks & Spencer);
• his music: several years ago has visited “Rigoletto”,
  and left the opera after 2nd act - “to speak the truth,
  i wasn’t the only one - there was the other who went out”;
• books: “i write them! i have already published 54 books!”
• current sujet: “On Stuokas Gucevičius, about his death”;
• what is in the bag? “flowers for one teacher, you see”.

• who: we met a group of physicists, performing and commenting
  in a crystally clear way experiments in mechanics, electronics, etc.
• they are: students of Physics Faculty at Vilnius University
  and the participants of science festival (4th in Vilnius);
